Alex is the founder of and managing attorney at Pilavjian Law, APC. Alex started his career as the general counsel of a prominent national real estate company where he focused on complex commercial real estate transactions, while handling the day-to-day legal affairs of the company. He has successfully and efficiently handled hundreds of millions in commercial real estate and business transactions nationwide. Alex’s excellent analytical and organizational skills, coupled with his sharp eye for detail and creative approach to problem solving, make him a persuasive advocate for his clients and lead to extraordinary results.

Alex’s practice also includes a variety civil litigation matters. He is focused on providing cost effective, practical, and efficient counsel to meet each client’s unique goals. He is passionate about advocating for the rights of the injured and aggressively defends the interests of those that have been wronged. Alex is committed to serving the interests of his community, whether it be representing the injured victim of an accident, or protecting a small business owner from exploitation.

In his free time, Alex enjoys golfing, snowboarding, playing basketball and traveling. As a son of proud Armenian immigrants from the middle-east and a first-generation American, Alex is also passionate about giving back to his community in Los Angeles.

Melanie Tahmasian is an Associate Attorney at Pilavjian Law, APC. Her practice primarily focuses on personal injury litigation and fighting for the rights of those that have no voice.

 

Prior to joining Pilavjian Law, Melanie worked as a law clerk at prominent law firms in Los Angeles, California where she supported other attorneys on personal injury matters. She has always been passionate about helping the “little guy” and became an attorney to help individuals obtain justice against large corporations and insurance companies that attempt to take advantage of regular everyday people.  Melanie takes pride in her ability to effectively work with clients to support them navigating the complexities of their case during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Her dedication to justice and commitment to putting the client’s needs above all else make her a trusted ally in the pursuit of justice.
